Scripts

All scripts are the property of Kara Wild and have been registered with the Writers Guild of America. (Note: They have been read by agents and production crew and entered in various contests, so if you try to pass them off as your own, you will be caught.)

On August 15, 2004, I won first place in the Scriptapalooza pilot competition for my pilot "Surviving in San Francisco." The announcement and my interview are no longer on the site, but you can view one here and the other here.

8:00 pm to 9:00 pm

In the real 24: Day Two "8:00 pm to 9:00 pm," Jack stopped the bomb-toting terrorist just in time. In this version, things are slightly more difficult....

Breaking the Mold

A cut-down and slightly revised version of the Daria fanfic by the same name.

Brother vs. Brother

A Malcolm in the Middle spec, in which Reese goes to stay with Francis at military school and Malcolm copes with the strangeness that is Dewey.

Third of Your Life Crisis

A Gilmore Girls spec. Lorelai runs into an old friend at her high school reunion and winds up rethinking the choices in her life. (Finalist in the Scriptapalooza One-Hour Drama Competition)

To See and be Seen

A Six Feet Under spec. Ruth is consumed by guilt after thinking she killed a man. Brenda comes back into Nate's life just as it seems like he has moved on.
